Bible Text: Isaiah 43:15

Remember God’s faithfulness. Respond in faith.

Today, we trace the word ‘remember’ through the book of Isaiah.

What does God’s word say about remembering His faithfulness?

Read Isaiah 12:4-5

I. REMEMBER: IT’S NOT ABOUT YOU

“Make mention” – most often translated as “remember” (to mark, to mention, to be mindful)

Read Psalm 73:25

II. REMEMBER: YOUR IDENTITY IS IN CHRIST

Read Isaiah 44:21

What Jesus thinks about you is more important than what other people think about you.

III. REMEMBER: GOD WILL PROVIDE

Read Isaiah 46:9

He is God. There is none like Him. You don’t take care of Him – HE takes care of YOU.

IV. RESPOND IN FAITH: BECAUSE GOD IS ALWAYS AT WORK

Read Isaiah 43:18-19

We give because we remember:

  • it’s not about us
  • our identity is in Jesus
  • God will provide
