What will it take for genuine revival in America?

I. HEARTFELT CONCERN

Revival simply takes ONE man to be totally burdened:

1500’s – Luther

1600’s – Savonarola

1700’s – Wesley

1800’s – Jonathon Edwards

1900’s – 2 businessmen in NYC

II. HUMBLE CLEANSING

Read 2 Chronicles 29:5

Impure hands are not fit for the work of spiritual reformation

Read 1 Peter 2:9, 1 Corinthians 6:19-20

The ‘temple’ today is – the body of the believer

Read 1 John 1:7, 2 Timothy 2:21

John Wesley – “Give me 100 men who fear nothing but sin, and desire nothing but God, and I will shake the world.”

III. HOLY COVENANT

Read 2 Chronicles 29:31 “… now ye have consecrated yourselves unto the Lord..”

Reconsecration is necessary if there is going to be a revival
