Shepherds were not the ones you’d expect to receive the most significant announcement in history!

Read Luke 2:8-9

3 words help us see the mystery that was announced:

“NIGHT”

400 years before the birth of Christ were silent years

“LIGHT”

Read Isaiah 9:2

“FRIGHT”

“and they were sore (very) afraid” (Luke 2:9)
