When we build with these 3 materials, we achieve fulfillment
Matthew 7:24-27
In this story, Jesus gives us an overview of
- 2 builders
- 2 houses
- 2 foundations
- 2 storms
Building is not an easy task. It is time-consuming – so is being a good father.

A couple of areas of Solomon’s instructions:
- Avoid bad (Read Proverbs 1:8-10, Proverbs 1:15, Proverbs 13:20)
- Abandon (Read Proverbs 5:1-8)
B. The positives
- Teach them how to do things
- Teach them how to and show them how to
- Teach them to win
- Teach them at the family
- Teach them to make Jesus the of their life
- Teach them the of the Spirit

One of the greatest things you can do to be a great father: be a great husband
Encouragement

We love our children in ways:
- By what we say and how we say it
- By what we do
- By how we hug
Reputation
Be a man of integrity. Be real.

Dads, your influence in your children is stronger than the influence of

- their Youth pastor
- their Pastor
Kids, your parents can lead you to freedom and security. But you have to follow.
