Main Bible Text: 2 Peter 3:1-7


I. Why do mockers ignore the Coming Judgment?

  1. When mockers attack, God’s is our defense (2 Peter 3:1-2)

  2. When mockers attack, God’s are our defense (2 Peter 3:3-6)
    1. Mockers will come in the (2 Peter 3:3-4)

    4. Mockers history (2 Peter 3:4)
    5. Mockers no credit (2 Peter 3:5-6)

II. Why doesn’t Christ return?

  1. Christ’s return is in God’s time (2 Peter 3:8)
  2. Christ’s return is about God’s heart (2 Peter 3:9)
    1. What the Lord promises, He in His time
    2. What the Lord promises, He waits

III. How should we live in the light of this?
Read 2 Peter 3:10-13
