The Underrated: Aquila and Priscilla

Bible Text: Acts 18

Introduction:

Underrated: rated or evaluated too low; underestimated or undervalued.

Aquila and Priscilla were Committed to God’s !

They showed hospitality to Paul. Acts 18:3 “He abode with them.”

They supported Paul. Acts 18:3 “And wrought (worked) as tentmakers.”

They risked their lives for Paul. Romans 16:4 “Laid down their own necks.”

Aquila and Priscilla kept a spirit about life!

Aquila and Priscilla were Committed to God’s !

They went wherever God was . Acts 18:18 “They sailed into Syria.”

They served wherever God was . Romans 16:3 “My helpers in Christ Jesus.”

They stayed wherever God was . Acts 19:1 “Finding certain disciples.”

Aquila and Priscilla added VALUE to Paul’s !

Aquila and Priscilla were Committed to God’s !

They to Apollos. Acts 18:26 “Aquila and Priscilla had heard.”

They Apollos. Acts 18:26 “They took him unto them.”

They Apollos. Acts 18:26 “Expounded unto him the way of God more perfectly.”

Aquila and Priscilla gave to what was important to them.
