Who you are in Christ transforms how you live for Christ

Ephesians 4:1 – walk worthy

“Walk” – how we live on a daily basis

Context of Ephesians 4:1

  • The apostle Paul wrote this letter to believers living in the city of Ephesus
  • In this letter, Paul reminds them of what Jesus has done for them

Structure of Ephesians:

  • Chapters 1-3: Who we are in Christ
  • Chapters 4-6: How we live for Christ

“Worthy”- axios (greek) – balancing the scales

Read Ephesians 2:9

“Glory” – kabod (greek) – weight, heaviness
