PRAYER IS THE PATH

Scripture: Colossians 1:10-14

BIG IDEA: Prayer is the Path of God’s Will.

I. Where do you want to go?

Colossians 1:10 “That ye might walk worthy of the Lord”

Amos 3:3 “Can two walk together, except they be agreed?” (going the same direction)

II. What would you like to do?

Colossians 1:10 “unto all pleasing”

III. Is it ok if my friends join us?

(Colossians 1:10) – “being fruitful in every good work”

• 1 Timothy 2:4 Who desires all men to be saved, and to come unto the knowledge of the truth.
• John 3:16 – God so loved the world
• Luke 19:10 — “The Son of Man came to seek and save the lost”

There is always room in heaven for one more.

(Colossians 1:10) – “being fruitful in every good work”

A CHANGED life is an IMPACTFUL life!

IV. God, I need your help.

(Colossians 1:11) – “strengthened with all might, according to His glorious power”

V. I’m forever grateful for all You’ve done.

(Colossians 1:12) “Giving thanks unto the Father which hath made us meet to be partakers of the inheritance of the saints in light.”

(Colossians 1:13) – “who hath delivered us from the power of darkness and has translated into the kingdom of His dear Son”

(Colossians 1:14) – “In Him we have redemption through His blood, the forgiveness of sins”
