Christian life is not a playground – it is a battleground.

We have a Partner in this war – His name is Jesus.

We all face our ‘Goliaths’.

I. THE ADVANTAGE OF THE GIANT

Read 1 Samuel 17:1-5, 6-7, 8-9, 11, 16

We must face our fears – our giants are not just going to go away.

II. THE ATTITUDE TOWARD THE GIANT

Read 1 Samuel 17:25, 26, 28

The Israelites saw Goliath – David saw God.

David knew the power of God’s name!

III. THE ACTION TOWARD THE GIANT
